Senior adults at Bethesda Baptist value fellowship with one another and we,
at
Bethesda, value our senior adults and work to meet their needs.
"Silver Liners" is our senior adult ministry for those 50 years and older.
For
more
information about Silver Liners contact Morgan Watley.
A selection of Sunday school classes for senior adults is offered Sunday
mornings,
9:15 - 10:15 am, in the Family Life Center.
Opportunities to Serve
- Many of our senior adults volunteer to work at the Miles Center
where they help stock and distribute food to the needy.
- Our seniors also carry meals to our Homebound members on
Wednesday nights and other special occasions.
- Seniors find a place to serve as Sunday school teachers for adults
and children, and as extended care workers for babies.
Opportunities to Fellowship
- We have monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month
at
6:30 pm.
In these meetings we have Christian entertainment,
speakers
dealing with information pertaining to seniors, inspirational
speakers
and singers.
- Different men’s groups gather for Bible study and golf outings,
while
our ladies gather for women’s conferences, Sunday school
meetings
and various programs.
- Senior adult exercise takes place each Monday and Wednesday
mornings in the Family Life Center.

- Day trips to various local and nearby attractions and events
