Preteen Ministries
Preteens are the forgotten age group that no one is really sure what to do with. Sometimes they clearly fit into the children's ministry and other times they seem much more apt for student ministry. Designating a preteen study, a class specifically for preteens and intorducing social activities combines the best of both worlds by giving them time to act older and also time to still be a kid.
Sunday School
Meets Sundays mornings at 9:15 am
Bible Studies for Life is the curriculum used for the
Btween Sunday School Class. Teachers use creative
teaching techniques, stories, and hands-on learning.
Each session focuses on one main point and one
Scripture with content that is conceptually aligned
for preteens.
AWANA - Truth & Training
Meets Sunday evenings @ 5:30 - 7:00 pm
T&T engages kids by answering their questions about
God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life
stage to grow in Christ’s grace. Handbooks and large-group
lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His
Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action
in everyday life.
Bible Study
Meets Wednesday evenings @ 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Preteens are a moving target. Too old for Children’s
Ministry, but too young for Youth Ministry. They need
Bible Study that answers real-life preteen questions
and tackles the issues preteens care about most! The
Btweens program delivers Bible truth the way your
preteens want to hear it and the lessons prompt your
preteen to dig into the Bible.
Extra Fun!
There are many special activities including conferences,
CentriKid Camp, seasonal shopping trips, and lunch
outings designed to meet the very specific spiritual and
emotional needs of preteens.
For more information about Special Activities and Camps please
